Step by step:
Remove boards from the pallet.
I totally forgot to snap a pic of the back but all you do is add 2 vertical pieces on the backside and use screws to secure them.
Initially, I was going to paint stars on but found this one on clearance and decided to use it instead
Laid everything out to decide how big to make the “star”Β section
Marked it off with tape and painted it blue
.
Then I painted every other board red
Then every other board white
Finally, I secured the star on with a nail and ta-da it’s done!
So what do you think?
Note: We ended up going back and adding a hinged board so it would stand. It’s now on the porch π

I love using pallets too! I would love to see some of your stuff π
Really cool! Itβs amazing the things that can be done with old pallets. And I love seeing the wood recycled rather than just thrown away! So much better for Mother Nature!
This is so cute! I love that you show how easy it is to make and how it looks in your yard. This is going on the to-do list for sure!
I LOVE THIS! How did you remove the boards without cracking them? any tricks?
